Medium: Fused glass on sheet copper. The glass is fused Dichroic glass both on black and on clear. Dichroic pattern glass rainbow, and reptilian. Other glass used translucent, crinkle, cathedral, iridized and opalescent. The glass is hand cut one piece at a time and fused to a solid glass base to create form and texture; this has been done by multiple firings. The layering of the innumerable pieces of glass that the fluid mosaic, are what gives it depth.

Subject: This fluid glass mosaic depicts the sun rising on a beautiful Spring Day. The Moon still in clear view, soft puffy clouds fill the sky. The Taos Mountain alive with the colors of Spring. Spring runoff flowing freely, the trees blooming. This is what helps you get through the long Winter, knowing Spring can’t be too far off, and it is glorious.
